Let me give you some insight into "Current" school policy, which has drastically changed ever since children started getting hold of guns and shooting those that bullied them. they CANNOT beat the crap out of the kid who bullies them without winding up dealing with the police. I know this from personal experience. I have a High functioning Autistic Child in high School who just wants to learn. He would love school except for the fact that children today are not taught tolerance of those who are different from whats "normal". He has been bullied daily and when he could take no more, and thier parents would do nothing he began fighting back physically. Guess what happens then? I get to talk to the cops and hope they decide NOT to press charges against him. Thats right you can't fight back in schools these days. Welcome to the real world. if My taxpayer money is going to these adults who are responsible for my children 6 hours a day then they better damn well make sure my kids are safe both physically and mentally. As for telling the bullies parents- No One "beats the snot out of their children" these days. they fear DCFS too much. Which just leaves #3 and let me tell you bullies can have a lifelong negative effect-or worse even shortening lives when these kids use guns or commit suicide. I fell like I'm sending my kid into the lions den every day, butI am powerless to do anything about it. This sound like a great idea to me.
